Who we are

This website is run by the camp committee of Bethel Presbyterian Church (UEN T12SS0064B), Singapore, to take registrations for Bethel Presbyterian Church Camp 2027. Questions about your data can be sent to [email protected].

What we collect and why

• Account details (name, email address, phone number, and a password if you create one) so that you can sign in, see your bookings and receive confirmation emails.
• Registration details (the names and ages of everyone you register, room type, bus seats, dietary needs and any notes) to arrange accommodation, transport and meals.
• Passport details (passport number, nationality, expiry and date of birth) for participants travelling to Malaysia, because the hotel and border crossing require them. These can be added after registration.
• Payment reference: your booking reference and the amount recorded against it. We do not see your bank details; payment is made through your own banking app via PayNow.
• Sign-in information from Google or Facebook, if you choose to sign in that way: only your name, email address and profile picture link. We never receive your password for those services and cannot post on your behalf.

How we protect it

• Passport numbers are encrypted in our database and shown only to committee members who need them.
• Passwords are never stored; only a one-way cryptographic hash of them is kept.
• The website and database are hosted on DigitalOcean servers in Singapore and all traffic is encrypted (HTTPS).
• Access to registration data is limited to the camp committee, each with their own login.

Who we share it with

We share only what each party needs: the hotel receives names and passport details for room allocation and check-in; the bus operator receives a passenger list; our email provider delivers messages to you. We do not sell or otherwise pass your data to anyone else, and we do not use it for marketing.

How long we keep it

Passport details are deleted from our system after the camp ends. Registration and payment records are kept until the camp accounts are closed, after which they are deleted or anonymised. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time by contacting the committee.

Your choices

• You can view and update your name, phone number and password on your account page.
• You can link or unlink Google and Facebook sign-in from the same page.
• You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you by emailing the committee.

Cookies

The site sets only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect the sign-in process. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
